About Foxy For Life - Menopause & Midlife Wellness Coach

Midlife and menopause are big transitions – and most women are left to figure them out on their own.
Foxy For Life is here to give you calm, evidence-informed support so you don’t have to do that alone.

Women Holding Flowers

Who I work with

I work with women roughly 40–65 who are in perimenopause, menopause or post-menopause and:

• Feel blindsided by changes in energy, mood, sleep, weight or symptoms
• Are tired of random tips on social media and want clear, trustworthy information
• Are willing to tweak how they eat, move, sleep and manage stress – but don’t want an extreme overhaul
• Value honest, straight-talking support more than quick fixes or magic bullets

How I work

Foxy For Life coaching is:

• Evidence-informed – I stay up to date with current research and guidelines, and translate it into plain language you can actually use.
• Real-life friendly – we look at your work, family load and responsibilities, then build a plan that fits your season of life. No “perfect week” required.
• Nutrition-forward – food is one of the main tools we use, because what and how you eat can influence things like energy, inflammation and long-term health. Approaches are usually lower-carb or ketogenic-style, but always tailored to your health picture and readiness.
• Collaborative – we make decisions together. I’ll explain the “why”, you decide what feels realistic.

Coaching and courses are offered as health coaching and education, not medical care. I don’t diagnose medical conditions or prescribe, start or stop medications or hormone therapy. We work alongside your GP or specialist, not instead of them.

A bit about me

I’m Cherice,  the Natural Medical Practitioner behind Foxy For Life.

I’ve spent 25 years working as a practitioner in natural health and wellness,

My primary qualification is a  Master's degree in Homeopathy from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. I have completed post graduate courses in The Complimentary & Alternative Medical Approach to Reproductive Health and a Certificate of Excellence in Advanced Translational Nutrigenomics. I have also completed a Level 5 Public Health & Health Promotion course  (Manukau Institute of Technology)

I am registered as a Natural Medical Practitioner with New Zealand Natural Health Practitioners (NHPNZ).

In Foxy For Life, I draw on this background in an education and coaching role - I don't provide medical treatment, diagnose conditions or prescribe or change medications.

Like many women, I discovered that there’s a huge gap between what’s known in the research about midlife women and what actually makes it into everyday care. Foxy For Life grew out of wanting to bridge that gap – combining solid information with practical, kind support.

When we work together you can expect a mix of:

• Clear explanations (without jargon)
• Curious questions to help make sense of your story
• Realistic suggestions, one step at a time
• Space to be honest about what’s hard, without judgement

I am a perimenopausal woman who understands the challenges that busy women face. I am a wife and mother to two semi-adult sons. And our family is completed by a black cat and Golden Retriever, who constantly  reminds me of the importance of a daily walk! I keep myself active by going to gym, playing lots of pickleball and skiing in winter. I am very curious and love to learn new things.

Having worked with hundreds of women and supported them through every stage of life, I strongly believe that our menopausal years should be the best of years of our lives. It is our time to thrive. Menopause should not be feared and it should not be a time that is  dominated by feeling awful and fearing getting older.

I see how women's  lifestyle choices may be impacting their biology, and ultimately their health.  My mission is to show women that when we  work with, and support our basic biology and biochemistry we can optimise  our cellular function and health and wellbeing.
